NEXPACE, the Web3 IP-expansion initiative behind MapleStory Universe (MSU), has unveiled a $50 million Ecosystem Fund aimed at accelerating the long-term growth of its gaming ecosystem. The fund underscores NEXPACE's mission to build an open, self-sustaining Web3 platform that merges play, creativity, and economy.

As an affiliate of Nexon—a global leader in online games—NEXPACE plans to invest in adjacent sectors like financial infrastructure, AI, tokenized real-world assets (RWAs), and the builder economy. The initiative seeks to address operational constraints plaguing traditional blockchain gaming ecosystems.

"The future of gaming hinges on real-world utility and sustainability," said Sunyoung Hwang, CEO of NEXPACE. The fund reflects a strategic push to lay financial and developmental groundwork for decentralized digital worlds.
